Bin Muabark says Iran is part of the problem, can't be part of a solution

RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak conferred today with the Swedish envoy to Yemen Peter Semneby over developments in Yemen and prospects to make peace.

Bin Mubarak underscored the need to ramp up pressures upon Houthi militia to achieve peace, citing the increasingly growing demands to designate the militia as a terrorist organization due to its military escalation in Yemen and the region and its threats to regional security and navigation in the Red Sea.

He stated that Houthi militia's correlation to Iran has been clearly seen for the Yemeni since the early days of the conflict, as the militia was basically established to target Arab national security. " Iran has been part of the problem, can't be a part of the solution", said bin Mubarak.

The Swedish diplomat stated that his country is continuing to contribute to the efforts aiming to establish security and stability in Yemen.
