Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani held Houthi militia fully responsible for the safety of the journalist Tawfeq al-Mansouri and his colleagues " Abdulkhaleq Amran, Akram al-Waleedi, Hareth Humaid".
The four unfortunate journalists have been enforced disappeared for more than seven years in the militia's jails. They have been illegally arrested, held in illegal detention centers, subjected to corporal and psychological torture and illegal verdicts of execution issued against them.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) al-Eryan stated that health conditions of al-Mansouri seriously deteriorated as he suffered live-threatening illnesses include heart-disease, poor kidney functions, diabetes, prostate.
The Minister appealed for the UN, international community, journalists protection organizations and human rights groups to press for releasing al-Mansouri and his colleagues.
