Aden - Saba
The Ministry of Transport said that the kidnapping of the cargo ship (Rawabi), which was flying the flag of the United Arab Emirates, off the Hodeidah Governorate, is a heinous terrorist crime that threatens the freedom and safety of international navigation in the Red Sea.
In a statement, the ministry expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of this crime, which it considered a real violation of international security and stability and a threat to the security and safety of international navigation noting that what the Houthi militia had done was a disregard for all principles of International Humanitarian Law, the San Remo Manual on International Law in Armed Conflicts at Sea, the United Nations Conventions on the Sea, a terrorist attack on international navigation, and an act of aggression aimed at multiplying the suffering of Yemenis.
