The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. 'MASAM' removes 2600 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to pull out 2620 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosive devices.

This amount of landmines were planted by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in different Yemeni regions.

MASAM reported that its deminers extracted 4 anti-personnel and 1035 anti-tanks landmines, 1542 UXO and 40 explosive devices.

This brings total number of Houthis' landmines removed by MASAM up to 296 thousand and 181 since it has started its demining mission in Yemen.
