'MASAM' removes 2600 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to pull out 2620 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosive devices.
This amount of landmines were planted by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in different Yemeni regions.
MASAM reported that its deminers extracted 4 anti-personnel and 1035 anti-tanks landmines, 1542 UXO and 40 explosive devices.
This brings total number of Houthis' landmines removed by MASAM up to 296 thousand and 181 since it has started its demining mission in Yemen.
