Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeq Asharjabi met today on the sideline of COP26 summit, in Glasgow, with his Jordanian counterpart Moawyah Ardaydah.
They discussed a proposal submitted by the Royal Jordanian Commission for Preserving Nature about the preservation and protection of the nature in Socotra Island. The project is funded by the UN Fund for Environment.
Bilateral cooperation between the two countries about dealing with climate changes impacts was also touched upon.
