The Ambassador of Yemen in Moscow, Dr. Ahmed Al-Wuhayshi, discussed with the Deputy Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Maximov,, the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the possibility of Russia exerting more pressure on the Houthi militia to yield to peace based on the agreed references.
Al-Wuhayshi praised the Russian political support for Yemeni legitimacy and the follow-up to the implementation the Security Council resolutions related to Yemen, especially resolution no. 2216, and the other reference points, which the Houthi coup militia rejects and continues its terror bombardment of civilians and populated areas.
For his part, Maximov affirmed his country's support to the security, stability and unity of Yemen.
