Speaker of the Parliament Sultan Al-Barakani inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a number of service projects in Sayoon city on Wednesday.
One project is for completing the first phase of constructing the building for heart surgery and cardiology, with local funding at a cost of USD 1,100,000.
He also laid the foundation stone for two projects to build a four-thousand-cubic-meter reinforced water tank, and the pipelines for wells in the Jethma field, with local financing at a total cost of USD 865,000.
He also inaugurated the first phase of the inpatient department building project at Sayoon Public Hospital, with a designed capacity for 160 beds, at local funding.
