Planning Minister discusses with Kuwaiti fund developmental projects in Yemen

KUWAIT - SABA
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb discussed Monday with Acting Director of Kuwaiti Fund Ghanem Sulaiman al-Ghunaiman the projects stopped because of the war.

The two parties agreed on speeding up implementation of current projects and agreed on sending a mission from the fund to Aden for discussing with concerned officials mechanism of implementing these projects.

Minister Batheeb signed amendments on loan agreement for financing the project of constructing and equipping Socotra Community College (Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad College) and equipping and furnishing 11 colleges of the community college for technical education.

He thanked the State and people of Kuwait for their generous support to Yemen and for political and developmental support and praised the Kuwaiti fund for financing different projects in the country.

For his part, the Director of the Kuwaiti Fund pointed out to financing developmental projects in Yemen now and in the future, pointing out to the fund's plans of resuming financing a number of projects under implementation.
