The European Union (EU) welcomed the proposal offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bring about an end of the Yemeni crisis and reach comprehensive political solution.
The spokeswoman of the EU for foreign , political and security Nabilah Massr in a statement " We consider this announcement a constructive step on the peace process track".
She added" The EU encourages all parties to communicate with the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in order to announce a cease-fire and start an inclusive political process guided by the UN as soon as possible".
