The European Union (EU) strongly condemned the attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias on the commercial ship (MINERVAGRACHT), which flies the Dutch flag in the Gulf of Aden.

The Security Committee of Mahra discussed Monday latest security situation developments and tightening measures for realizing security and stability of the province.
Presided over by Governor of Mahra Mohammad Yasser and attended by Secretary General of Local Council Salim Neimer, the meeting listened to reports from security and military commanders on security developments in the districts of the province and efforts exerted for tightening security there and tackling challenges they face.
Governor Yasser stressed significance of doubling efforts and dealing firmly with any practices harming security and stability of the province.
He also stressed abiding by working hours and be in a state of readiness for carrying out duties within precautionary measures for combating corona pandemic.
