Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak discussed today with the Chairman of the Qatari Red Crescent Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al Thani, mechanisms for activating cooperation between Yemen and the Qatari Red Crescent. Bin Mubarak praised the humanitarian and relief services provided by the Qatari Red Crescent to Yemen in cooperation with international organizations.
He emphasized the importance of direct coordination between the Yemeni government and the Qatari Red Crescent regarding the implementation of developmental projects, providing more humanitarian services, especially in conflict areas, and focusing on supporting isolation centers and healthcare services in IDP camps.
For his part, the chief the Qatari Red Crescent expressed his happiness at the resumption of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, which will contribute to bolstering the provision of humanitarian and relief services for the Yemeni people in all the country’s regions.
