Parliament: Houthi militia's recent escalation hinders UN peace calls
[09/02/2021 06:38]

ADEN - SABA
The Parliament's Presidency has confirmed that Houthi terrorist militia's recent escalation represents an answer to all UN peace calls and continuation of hindering all efforts exerted by brothers and friends for appeasing and ending the war, neglecting complicated humanitarian suffering.

" The Parliament's Presidency followed up dangerous escalation steps by Houthi terrorist militia by issuing so-called new verdicts … stipulated on executing 11 parliament members at al-Tahrir Square and seizing their possessions after a verdict they issued earlier on executing 30 members and seizing their possessions and carrying out military offensive on Marib Province, which hosts more than a million displaced people, " said the board of the presidency in a release issued on Tuesday.

The presidency pointed out that Houthi militia's recent escalation has represented a response to peace calls by US and supported by the legitimized government and Arab Coalition and this response coincides with UN and US envoys' shuttle tours seeking for peace means.

The presidency called upon the international community and permeant member states in the Security Council and world parliaments to take firm and serious position towards this escalation.

It confirmed that co-existence with such fascist group issuing verdicts of executing dozens of parliamentarians is strange and non-acceptable mater.
