Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Wa’ed Badheib, discussed with the UNDP Yemen Resident Representative. Mr. Auke Lootsma, the mechanisms of transition from relief work to development in order to achieve economic recovery, create job opportunities, and enhance stability.
In a meeting held in the temporary capital Aden today, the talks dealt with many issues including the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, the effects of the war, the sustainable development and the UNDP’s preparations to implement a project to develop and raise the efficiency of the seaports of Aden and Mukalla, at a cost of 50 million dollars, funded by the World Bank.
