Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Poland Dr. Mefat Mujalli stated that the Yemeni government is committed to peace option within the course of the ongoing international efforts aiming to achieve peace in Yemen.

Her statement came as she contributed along with Arab Ambassadors to Warsaw to discussions held virtually on Thursday led by the Polish Foreign Minister.

Mujalli expressed the Republic of Yemen government's gratitude to Poland's constant support for peace efforts in Yemen.

The Ambassador touched upon the US administration's decision about the designation of Houthi militia terrorist organization. She stated that the decision is very important move to mount pressure on the militia in order to come to peace.
