Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, called on all audiovisual and readable media outlets to open a new page, unify and strengthen the national front in the face of the Iranian-backed Houthi coup militia.
He made the remarks as he presided over an extensive meeting for leaders of state media institutions in Aden today.
The meeting discussed the activation of the role of media institutions in serving the national goals, strengthening national cohesion, and confronting the Houthi coup.
Al-Eryani stressed the ministry’s keenness to promote all media institutions, and the importance of full coordination between the leaderships of the Information Ministry and the local authority in Aden and media institutions in all aspects and areas related to arrangements for activating the work of the various media institutions in the temporary capital Aden.
