KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" announced that it managed to pull out 1630 landmines, explosive devices and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the first week of December 2020.
It reported that 15 anti-personnel and 187 anti-tanks land mines, 1422 UXOs and 6 explosive devices were removed.
It is important to note that since it has started its demining mission MASAM removed 203 thousands of landmines and explosive devices planted by Iran-backed Houthi theocratic militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
