Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Yemeni Government has demanded the international community especially rights organizations to condemn the Houthi horrific massacre that claimed the lives of eight women and children and left 10 others critically injured.

In a statement, the foreign ministry should “assume its responsibility in setting a limit to Houthi crimes …and condemn the massacre that the militia committed against civilians in Al Durayhimi” of Hodeidah on Sunday.

The militia shelled Durayhimi with artillery fire on Sunday afternoon incurring the said casualties.
