Oil Minister, Shabwah governor inspect oil strategic tank project

Minister of Oil and Minerals Aws al-Awd and Governor of Shabwa Mohammad bin Adyou inspected Wednesday the Oil Strategic Tank Project is being constructed at the coastal line of Rudhom District here.

The tank, which costs USD 15, 000, is carried out by Yemeni Company for Oil Investments.

Al-Awd and bin Adyou were briefed by the company's Director Abdullah Umair on the components of the project and plans of the company for improving the basic components of its oil establishments and increasing storing capacity to 100,000 barrel daily and capacity of exporting tanks into 1500,000 barrel.

On the other hand, the minister of oil and Shabwah governor inspected the accomplishment level of Qana Tourist Resort, which is constructed on the best of coasts in the province.

The project costs USD 2,5 million and contains 34 chalets, markets, service facilities and green areas.
