King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as "MASAM" announced that its deminers managed to pull out 34 anti-tanks landmines and 1239 unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the second week of this month from different Yemeni regions.

Yemen participates in regional meeting on back to school

Yemen, represented by Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas participated Wednesday in the regional ministerial meeting on back to school in Arab Countries held through visual communication.
Lamlas reviewed measures taken by the government for kicking off the new schooling year and preparing schools by cleaning them.
He pointed out that the ministry made a number of choices on realizing social separation, noting to challenges facing educational process led by shortage of cadre, school books and buildings, which led to increasing numbers of students in classrooms.
