UN Chief Voices Concern Over Renewed Houthi Attacks on Commercial Shipping in the Red Sea

Def. Minister: We've to gain battle against the remnants of Imamate theocracy

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohammed Ali al-Maqdashi described the ongoing war the national military troops have been fighting against Iran-backed theocratic Houthi militia militants as the Yemenis' main battle that everybody must be engaged in to win.

" It is our national and historical duty that requires all fellows to align together to fight our main battle against the imamate theocracy's leftovers and cut Iranian evils and desire to make Yemen a Persian subordinate", said al-Maqdashi.

His statement came as he chaired Sunday a meeting of the Command of the Seventh Military Region.

General al-Maqdashi stated that the armed forces along with national resistance fighters are going to defeat the militants of the theocratic Houthi militia's militants who have been fighting to reinstate the out-dated imamate theocratic ruling.

He said " The national military troops and local resistance fighters will make the victory that all Yemenis are looking forward to".
