Governor of Marib Sultan al-Irada inspected Thursday Marib Dam and was acquainted with the dam's technical security by Engineer Ahmad al-Arifi.
Al-Arifi confirmed that the dam is secured and there are no fears regarding its capacity and security.
The inspection visit came after rumors on the dam's technical security and capacity and the governor directed concerned bodies to provide necessary equipment for conducting continuous maintenance work to the dam.
He sent comforting message to the people that he found from his field visit to the dam that the dam is very secured technically and there are no fears.
Regarding the people, who have been affected by the flooding water of the dam, the governor appointed a committee to inspect their conditions and their needs.
