Governor of Hadhramout, the Commander of the Second Military Region General Faraj al-Bahsani has announced on launching wide campaign for establishing a cancer therapy center in the province.
In a speech he delivered in a festival organized by Hadhramout Anti-Cancer Foundation "Amal," or hope, on the International Childhood Cancer Day, al-Bahsani called on philanthropists and society to react with this significant project for implementing it.
He confirmed support of the local authority to Amal foundation, calling international community and businessmen to support the foundation and for curing cancer patients.
For his part, the member of the Trustees Board of the foundation Dr. Abdulqader Bayazid talked about the foundation's efforts and efforts of the national cancer therapy center, which received more than 3060 patients from across Yemen during the past ten years.
