Taiz governor, National Parties discuss normalizing conditions

Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan discussed Monday with representatives of the National
Parties Alliance a number of issues associated with normalizing life and security and stability
in the province.

In the meeting, Shamsan confirmed that the local authority is intending to implement a
number of priorities in different fields touching people living conditions including
development projects in fields of health, water and education.

He also confirmed that the local authority will work on imposing the rule of law, a matter
which requires integration of efforts of all political parties for this purpose, noting that the
situations resulting from war and siege imposed on Taiz city require responsible efforts and
stopping inter-media campaigns and away of side battles, which do not serve anyone.

He also confirmed keenness on solving all issues included in the agreement signed by the
alliance of the parties and working on reforming administrative and security faults, realizing
justice and stability, controlling revenues and organizing expenditures and providing basic
services to the citizens.

The representatives of the alliance provided a draft of the agreement's articles, which
includes many issues in the province and solutions to them.

The attendants tackled issues like arresting security wanted people, keeping public and
private possessions, solving problems of delaying salary payment of teachers, following up
salaries of other government's employees and uniting information and media address.

The leaders of the political parties confirmed their support to local authority and the
governor for implementing his program including reforms of administrative and security
institutions and providing services to the people.
