RIYADH-SABA
Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami received on Tuesday Credentials of the newly appointed resident Ambassador of the Switzerland Federation to Republic of Yemen Balzabblanalb.

Al-Hadrami welcomed the Swiss diplomat, voicing gratitude to the Switzerland's government for supporting the legitimate Yemeni government and people.

The Foreign Minister touched upon the Iranian regime's recognition of the Houti militia's representative and handing over the Yemeni embassy premises in Tehran. He denounced the Iranian regime's move as it is flagrantly violating the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations given that Houthi militia doesn’t represent the international recognized Yemeni government.

The Swiss diplomat expressed his regret for the misunderstanding caused by the meeting of his country's ambassador to Tehran with Houthi militia's representative. He confirmed that doesn't mean an official recognition of the Houthis by the Switzerland.
