The Ministry of Water and Environment participated in a training program on rural water supply held on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital Cairo, and implemented by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
The training program aims to develop the capabilities of Yemen's General Authority for Rural Water and Sanitation Projects and improving drinking water supply services in all rural areas in Yemen.
The program was attended by 39 trainees as representatives of the Authority from all Yemeni governorates, with 9 trainees specialized in the field of "Geophysics, Hydrogeology and Geology", 14 trainees in "Civil Engineering", and 16 trainees in the field of "Leaders and Administrators".
