Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami met here Tuesday with the special envoy of the German Foreign Ministry Mikhail Unmakht.
The session devoted to discuss the latest developments about the situations in Yemen including the steps taken to put Riyadh Agreement in place.
Al-Hadrami detailed the Unmakhat on the practical steps the government has taken to implement Riyadh Agreement including the return of the Prime Minister and his ministerial team to the interim capital Aden.
Al-Khadrami touched upon the government support for the peace process in our country and the efforts have been made by the UN Secretary General Special envoy to make peace. He pointed to Hodeidah agreement, describing the implementation of Hodeidah as key step to move forward to a comprehensive solution to the conflict with Houthi militia.
The Foreign Minister voiced gratitude to Germany for its substantial support for Yemen, particularly its contribution to the humanitarian efforts. He highly appreciated Germany's call in the International Security Council for conducting the necessary maintenance the Safer Floating oil tanker need.
For his part the German official reiterated his country's support for Yemen's security, stability, unity and its territorial integrity. He stated that Germany is seeking to contribute to achieve peace in Yemen.
