Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abdul-Razzaq al-Ashwal launched Sunday here the National Field Survey Project to training institutions and community colleges in liberated provinces.
In launching ceremony attended by the ministry's officials, Minister al-Ashwal confirmed significance of the survey in studying the real situation of educational and training institutions, the nature of equipment and cadre, educational curriculum and programs and inspecting constructional field for making strategic plans on the bases of the information the survey will come out with.
He pointed out that the priority of his ministry is making a strategy help in improving technical and training education, taking care of graduated cadre and granting practical bachelor degree, taking care of youth during peace and reconstruction.
He confirmed that the ministry will carry out during the forthcoming months president's training program for training and qualifying youth in different specializations, focus on standards and indicators resulted from all training courses, making training guides and raising the motto of "Quality First" while activating quality and inspection managements in the ministry.
He noted that the ministry is carrying out development projects represented in furnishing 10 institutes in liberated provinces, activating the loan for qualifying 13 community colleges and approving a project from the Islamic Bank for Improving Short Term Programs and Courses.
The inauguration ceremony included showing work mechanism and using field survey tools by officials of the project, which targets 11 provinces.
