A report by the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms documented 4896 violations and crimes committed by the Houthi militia against religious activists and places of worship in Yemen from January 1, 2015, to June 30, 2025. Yemen's Ambassador to Mauritania Salem al-Arada discussed on Monday with Mauritanian Minister of Justice MukhtarMalal developments in Yemeni arena and efforts of the government for realizing peace amid Houthi militia's stubbornness.
The ambassador touched upon situations of Yemeni community in Mauritania and joint work with Mauritanian Justice Ministry for tackling any issue facing Yemenis here.
The meeting also dealt with cooperation in fields of justice and judiciary between the two countries.
For his part, the Mauritanian minister reaffirmed his country's support to the government of President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi and readiness of his ministry on cooperation in justice field.
