Yemen has participated in a meeting of the Arab Committee for Women which concluded in Algeria today.

The meeting was held under the slogan "Social Protection for Women Empowerment." Yemen's Ambassador Ali al-Yazeedi, the head of the country's delegation to the event, delivered a speech and pointed out to what the Yemeni women's struggle and the rights they had obtained, including their representations in the government's three authorities and their prominence in the universities and all the sectors.
