Chief of Staff praises Saudi Arabia's roles in supporting Yemen

General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'ee highly praised the roles Kingdom of Saudi Arabi has played in supporting Yemen, its unity, security, stability and regaining the state's institutions that Iran-allied Houthi rebel militia has sought to take control over.

His statement came as he met Saturday in Aden with Commander of Saudi troops operate within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces.

The session devoted to discuss topics relating to security and military developments and combat operations in different front.

General Annakha'ee said" We'll never allow Iran to have foothold in Yemen or to promote its subversive scheme in our country and Arab region…".

" We have to go on battling Iran-backed Houthi rebels until recapture all remaining regions that still under the militia control".

For his part, the Commander of Saudi troops has reiterated Saudi Arabia's support for Yemen and Yemeni people until the coup is eliminated and reinstate official authority.
