U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Oil Company Aden branch's sales totaling 74 billion YR in 2018

Manager of Yemeni Oil Company, Aden branch, Entissar al-Arashah said that total amount of the Co. sales of fuels counted 74 billion and 502 million Yemeni Rial (YR) in 2018.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) al-Arasha stated that the Co. managed in spite of difficult circumstances the country has been experiencing to make several achievements including rehabilitating and operating a number of petrol stations, organizing 17 training courses for the company's workers and staff.

"The Oil Company Aden branch is going to get rehabilitation projects accomplished this year to reinstate and increase the petrol stations and facilities in order to improve the company's businesses ", al-Arasha said.
