Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the International Security Council resolution 2451 about Yemen.
Bahraini Foreign Ministry said in statement published by Bahraini News Agency(BNA) " The UN Security Council Resolution (UNSCR) 2451 about establishing cease-fire in Hodeidah and dispatching international monitors to observe and follow up the implementation of what the Yemeni parties agreed on in Sweden reflects the International Community's desire to reach an overall solution to the conflict based on the three terms of reference including GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216 of 2015, in order to establish peace and security all over Yemen, maintain Yemen's unity, its integrated territories and put an end of the Iranian intervention in its internal affairs".
Bahraini Foreign Ministry praised constructive efforts by members of UNSC, particularly the state of Kuwait, USA, UK and Arab Coalition's role in supporting legality in Yemen and resulted in issuing this significant resolution.
