Yemen participated on Thursday in the activities of the 13th Round of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on Holy Quds here with a delegation headed by Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas.
In the end of the opening ceremony, the organization handed over its prize of literacy of 2018 to Woman Promotion and Child Care Society in Gambia and General Director of the Organization has been awarded the Yemeni Ministry of Education's medal, the Legion of International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Manuscript on Holy Koran interpretation from Russian Society of Muslims.
A memo of understanding has been signed between ISESCO and both the Islamic Committee of the International Crescent, King Faisal International Prize, the Project of Glorifying of the Holy Country and the Federation of News Agencies of the Islamic Organization for Cooperation and the International Council of Arabic.
A documentary on Israeli Occupation's violations against Aqsa Mosque and Educational and cultural institutions at Holy Quds has been presented.
