Spokesperson of Saudi-led Arab Coalition for supporting legality in Yemen Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said Houthi putschist militia hindered the UN's organizations which operate in Hodeidah province, exploiting its control over the province to finance its warfare on the Yemeni people.
In his weekly press briefing Monday, Col. Al-Malik stated that the Coalition in cooperation with "OCHA" established three safe humanitarian passages toward the capital Sana'a.
Al-Maliki noted that the Kingdom's efforts aiming to bailout the Yemeni economy are continuing. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia deposited $1billion in the Central Bank of Yemen and contributed to Comprehensive Humanitarian Plan in 2018 with $2billion.
He blamed Houthi putschist militia for ruining Yemen's national economy, looting $5 billion foreign currency reserves and more than 800 billion Yemeni Rial (YR).
