In partnership with the By Knowledge We Rise Initiative in Aden, the Yemen Women Union organized an awareness workshop on combating gender-based violence, with support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA.)
The Union chairwoman Fatima Muraysisaid the workshop discussed the concept of gender-based violence, its manifestations, and how it affects the social and psychological life of the individual.
