WARSAW-SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Warsaw Dr. Mervat Mujalli have discussed with the Chairperson of the Foreign and European Union Affairs Committee Marek Rotski, in the Polish Senate, Marek Rotski, the latest developments in Yemen.
In a meeting in Warsaw on Wednesday, Mujalli recounted the Yemeni government's seeking to bring about peace through the implementation of the UN resolutions, especially resolution no. 2216 (2015) to end the suffering of the Yemeni people caused by the Houthi militia's coup and unrelenting war.
She cited the Houthi militia's no-show in the Geneva consultations that were scheduled for September 6 as the latest demonstration of Houthi stubborn avoidance of solution to the coup issue.
For his part, Rotsky said that his country attaches great importance to the situations in the Middle East, especially the Yemeni conflict.
He said that "the security and stability of the world is indivisible, and everything that happens in remote areas affects in one way or another Europe and Poland."
He stressed his country's support for the Yemeni government to bring peace and eliminate any form of rebellion outside the democratic system.
