Presidential Decisions Bring Historic Gains for Yemeni Women

The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher has stated that State's-owned media institutions have been totally damaged by Houthi militia. He affirmed that work is in progress now to establish the official satellite channels' studios in the government-held provinces.

" Efforts are underway to reinstate official media organizations, equip them with necessary and available capacities so that they can do their mission from inside the homeland" said Bin-Dagher.

His statement came as met Tuesday with Undersecretary of Ministry of Information Ayman Nasser.

Nasser detailed the Prime Minister on the official media institutions and difficulties need to be overcome in order to improve the media role. He touched upon action-plan aims to enable the official media to have a more robust role in countering Houthi militia's devastating scheme.
