Ministry of Social Affairs Issues Urgent Humanitarian Appeal over Deteriorating Conditions in Taiz
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor issued Tuesday an urgent humanitarian appeal to international and regional organizations and agencies, associations, institutions, unions, local and foreign civil society organizations and its private-sector partners, calling for an immediate action and intensified efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens and respond to the growing humanitarian needs in Taiz Governorate.

Tawasul Foundation distributes humanitarian aid in Socotra

The Tawasul Foundation for Human Development has implemented a foodstuff and shelter aid distribution project for 50 families in Socotra archipelago, funded by Kuwaiti aid organizations.
The director general of Tawasul's office in Hadramout Salem Bashamekhah said that the project is part of a larger campaign targeting the Socotra Archipelago, including foodstuffs, medical provisions, and shelter materials financed by Kuwait's Mercy International and the Kuwaiti Association for Relief.
The campaign comes as part of the response to the impact of the cyclone Mekunu that hit the archipelago recently.
