RIYADH-SABA
Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher met Monday with the US ambassador to our country Mathew Tuller.

UN and international good offices to push peace consultations between Yemeni parties was a key focus of Bin-Dagher's talks with Mr Tuller.

Aspects relating to fighting terrorism and coordination between the two countries in this regard were also discussed.

The Prime Minister voiced the Yemeni government's and peoples' appreciation for the US position in supporting the legitimate Yemeni leadership and government and for the US administration's commitment to support the government against the militia's coup and to go on building a secure, new federal Yemen.

Bin-Dagher also lauded the American firm stance toward the Iranian's spoiler schemes in Arab countries.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that legitimate government has been keen to support any efforts may press the putschist militia to comply with the bases of a peaceful solution that include the GCC's Initiative, its operational plan, outcomes of the National Dialogue and UNSCRs, namely 2216.

The US diplomat has confirmed his country's rejection to Iran's interference in Yemen's internal affairs and its support for the Houthi militia.
