Yemen permanent UN Representative Abdullah al-Saadi discussed with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher the economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen and the government’s efforts to secure peace.

Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi received a telephone call from his Turkish counterpartMevlutCavusoglu on Tuesday.
They discussed the Israeli occupation forces' criminal attack against peaceful demonstrators in Gaza, which led to the death of more than 50 people and injury of a hundred others. They also discussed the ramifications of the US decision to move its embassy to al-Quds (Jerusalem) having recognized that city as a capital for Israel.
The two ministers condemned the abuses of the occupation state of Israel against the defenseless Palestinian people and rejected the embassy moving decision.
In this regard,Cavusogluconveyed to al-Mekhlafian invitation from the Turkish president to an emergency meeting for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to be held in Istanbul on Friday.
