Ba-aum explores WHO's health projects

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr Nasser Ba-aum met Tuesday with the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Yemen Dr Nevio Zajaria.

The WHO contribution to support health sector in our country was a key focus of Ba-aum's conversation with Zajaria.

Dr Ba-aum has underlined the importance of speeding procedures pertaining to the implementation of the projects which already been agreed on with the WHO in different provinces.

The Minister also highlighted the need for implementing the agreements about supporting training programs of the Nursing College at Aden University.

The Who official has affirmed the WHO commitment to carry out the organization's programs in Yemen as it is planned. He cited several projects fund by the UAE and KSrelief Center.
