Minister of Oil and Minerals, Aws Al-Oud, discussed with the management of Aden Refinery Company, on Wednesday, the difficulties facing their work and the requirements to resume the Company's activities, including the supply of crude oil.
Al-Oud was briefed by Senior Engineer, the Company's Acting Technical Manager, Saeed Mohammed, on the refinery modernization projects currently under way including the project to develop and modernize a power plant and other projects that will be implemented as soon as cash is available.
Al-Oudstressed that the government is seriously working to address all the financial and logistical problems the Refinery is facing so that it can implement the development and modernization projects necessary to resume its activities. He called on the management and workers of the Refinery to intensify their efforts and overcome obstacles to the Refinery's production and to contribute to maintaining the continuity of the company.
