The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. MoPIC, UN office discuss humanitarian response priorities

The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) and the United Nations office in the temporary capital Aden have discussed the priorities of humanitarian response plan for the year 2018.

The discussion involved MoPIC undersecretary Nazar Ba-Soheib and the directors of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the representative of the UN office, Save the Children and CAIRE organization offices in Aden.

They discussed mobilizing and coordinating effective humanitarian action to respond to the humanitarian needs in the country.

Ba-Soheib referred to water and health as the sectors where assistance is most needed.

He renewed MoPIC's commitment to provide the necessary facilitations to the different aid organizations to implement their aid programs.
