Governor inspects preparations for updating Socotra Port

Governor of Socotra Ahmad Abdullah al-Socotri inspected on Sunday final preparations for updating the Port of Socotra Archipelago.

Khalifa bin-Zayed Al Nahyan Corporation for Humanitarian Activities finances the projects .

These projects include paving 110 meter of the port as expansion, fencing and lightening it, asphalting the whole dock and launching the 100-ton lift. They also include inaugurating the port's two managements, the custom of the port after rehabilitating it and launching a new plan for boosting the port's marine activity.

Al-Socotri praised the updating process, which will increase the port's activities, valuing efforts of brothers for their generous support for all sectors in the province.
