Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh urged Ministry of Oil and Minerals to secure the citizens access to fuels.
As he met Sunday with Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Minerals Shaqi Al-Mikhlafi, the Vice President stressed that oil sector should recover and all oil firms operate in the country need to come back to resume their businesses.
(Lt Gen) Mohssen gave his instructions to the military and security services and local authorities to coordinate with the Ministry of Oil about rescuing the oil sector and national economy which has been badly affected by illegal actions and practices of the rebellious militia.
For his part, Al-Mikhlafi detailed the Vice President on the efforts have been made by the Ministry in order to revive oil industry and businesses.
