Deputy Minister of Local Administration, member of Supreme Relief Committee, Abdulsalm Abbood met Tuesday with the ambassador of South Korean Republic to our country Bak Wung Sul.
Aspects of bilateral ties and how to further boost cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed.
Abbood briefed the Korean diplomat on the current situations in the Yemeni arena. He made clear that Yemeni legal leadership and government have been keen to make sustainable peace that is based on the well known national, regional and international references: outcomes of the National Dialogue, GCC's Initiative and International Security Council resolution 2216.
The government's underway efforts aiming to re-normalize situations in the government-held regions were also touched upon.
The Korean ambassador noted that he will seek to increase the Korean donations to our country. He stated that his country provides relief and humanitarian grants through international organizations and it seeks to direct coordination with the Yemeni government in the future's projects.
