Yemen takes leading share in higher education conference in Cairo

Arab Ministers of Higher Education elected on Wednesday Yemen a Vice President for the 16th Conference of Ministers of Higher Education in Arab countries.
Iraq has been elected the President of the Conference.
Under the motto of:" Higher Education and Labor World and Production in the Arab Nation; A New Vision," the conference lasts for two days under the sponsorship of Arab Culture and Education Sciences Organization and Arab Liberation Organization.
The convening ministers recommended nominating Yemen for presiding the 17th Round of the conference.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein ba-Salama is heading Yemen's delegation.
The conference discusses a number issues led by Arab labor market's relation with higher education and scientific research institutions for achieving the objectives of the sustainable development 2030 and its significance for financing higher education and scientific research in Arab countries.
It also discusses reports of Arab countries on applied studies and linkage between higher education and labor markets and a report on implementing recommendations of the 15th Conference held in al-Eskandaria, Egypt two years ago.
