Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Tian Qi on Saturday economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting tackled evaluation of implementing treaties signed recently between the two countries in fields of telecommunications, oil, gas and media and investment opportunities before Chinese companies and facilitations and privileges provided by the government of Yemen in this field.
The meeting dealt also with accomplishments achieved by the government in regaining order in liberated areas and support of China for the security and stability of Yemen, as well as aspirations for Chinese role in reconstruction and kicking off development.
"Yemenis will not forget Chinese attitudes supporting them across history, in peace and war and recent support to the legitimacy in Yemen …… and keenness on its unity, security and stability," said Prime Minister bin-Daghr.
He renewed keenness of the government on the success of the UN efforts for realizing peace and implementing references of the political solution embarking from its moral and national responsibilities for putting an end to the humanitarian catastrophe over the war triggered by Houthi-Saleh's rebel militias.
For his part, Ambassador Qi renewed his country government's support to Yemeni government and international efforts for reaching a political solution and pushing for peace and stability to Yemeni people.
He confirmed keenness of the government of China on boosting friendly and cooperation relations with Yemen in different fields.
