[05/06/2017 01:24]
ADEN-SABA
The government of Yemen has announced that it supports the Arab coalition's suspension of Qatar from participating in the operations aimed at its own restoration by ousting the coup militias in Sana'a.

"The Yemeni government announces support for the steps the command of the pro-legitimacy Arab coalition has taken to remove the Qatari forces from its ranks," read a statement released by the government. "(This decision comes) after Qatar's exchanges with the coup militias and support to extremist groups in Yemen has become exposed.

Practices that are in contradiction with the agreed upon goals of the member states of the coalition backing Yemen's government."

The Yemeni government said it is confident the rest coalition members will continue to exert all their efforts to achieve peace and security for the Yemeni people, restore the state sovereignty back from the coup forces and continue to fight terrorism on all the Yemeni land.

The command of the Arab Coalition had announced that it decided to end Qatar's participation in the coalition.

The command "decided to end Qatar's participation in the coalition because of its practices that promote terrorism and support terror organizations including Al-Qaeda and the IS, as well its exchanges with the militia coups in Yemen, in a manner that contradicts the coalition's goals, the paramount of which is fighting terror," the Saudi press agency SPA quoted the command as stating.
