King Salman's Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) has inaugurated a Ramadan Iftar meals in Marib, as part several humanitarian aid programs KSrelief is implementing in Marib, Aden, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan and Dhale'a.
KSrelief has stated that the Iftar program in Marib is set to distribute 45 thousand hot and dry meals over the course of Ramadan, meant to improve dieting for the most impoverished people in Yemen.
The meals will be distributed to hospitals, university hostels and in roads.
KSrelief has inaugurated a number of aid programs in Yemen. One program tackles malnutrition among children, and pregnant and nursing mothers. Another ensures the supply of clean drinking water and environmental sanitation.
Just yesterday, it (KSrelief) launched a food aid program that aims to, ultimately, distribute 50 thousand food baskets to 300 thousand persons in Wadi Hadhramout, east of Yemen.
